Complex Travel Plans are referred to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geckotravelclinic.co.uk\/\">Gecko Travel Clinic <\/a>(e.g. Backpacking. Long Stay). Please be aware we will require your completed form at least 6 weeks prior to your departure, if you are less than 6 weeks prior to your departure date you must contact a private travel clinic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge. It states:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIf a patient intends to go away for a longer period(than two to three week\u2019s holiday) <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">he\/she may not be regarded as a resident of this country and would not be entitled to the benefits of the National Health Service\u2026.<\/span> It may not be in the patient\u2019s best interest for him\/her to continue to self-medication over such longer periods\u2026.
